2026 Standard Rotation Rule
For the 2026 competitive season, Pokémon TCG Standard format decks are legally restricted to cards bearing Regulation Marks H, I, and J.
Important Reprints Exception: Older prints of cards (e.g. Ultra Ball, Professor's Research, Super Rod) remain 100% legal in Standard if an identical card is currently printed with mark H, I, or J. Basic Energy cards are always legal.

Mandatory 60-Card Deck Construction Rules
Every tournament deck must contain exactly 60 cards. A deck list with 59 or 61 cards is an illegal deck list subject to a Game Loss penalty under official Play! Pokémon Tournament Rules, and must be corrected before play.
No more than 4 copies of any card sharing the same name (regardless of rarity or illustration). Basic Energy is exempt.
Only 1 ACE SPEC card total allowed in the entire deck list across Items, Tools, and Special Energy.
Standard enforces the 1-per-deck ACE SPEC limit. Radiant Pokémon (introduced in Astral Radiance Mark F) bear Mark F and have rotated to Expanded.
